Swahili Courses
We do provide face-to-face and virtual Swahili courses to individuals and groups that are provided through highly experienced professionals.
We have 3 categories of face-to-face courses, as follows:
- Standard beginners’ and intermediate courses for 3 weeks (a total of 90 hours),
- Intensive beginners and intermediate courses for 2 weeks (60 hours in total)
- Part-time: Evenings 5:30 – 7:30 PM- Monday to Friday; and 09:00AM – 12:30 PM on Saturdays.

METHODOLOGY
- Maximum 5 participants per highly experienced trainer;
- Use of textbooks, audio-visual aids -including videos, tapes, and pictures, language games and roleplays;
- Excursions to institutions and places in the neighborhood, for practicing with native speakers;
- Each topic is integrated with a cultural note related to core values; and
- Oral proficiency test done for each participant.

Cultural Orientation Program
In realizing the effect of cultural shock on individuals functioning, Zana has a very effective cultural orientation program that enable individuals and groups visiting Tanzania to be aware about the social-cultural, geographical and political environment in Tanzania, thus preparing themselves better for swift navigation.
Target Groups
Program Coverage
Among others, the program covers the following areas: cross culture values, core values, historical background of Tanzania and the current political climate, as well as the dos and don’ts.
